WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Mod Shop is looking for DIY crafters with original items to sell. Cottage food vendors and curated vintage collections are also welcome. Items should be made by hand and not manufactured elsewhere. Products should be unique and distinct from other vendors. Our space is limited and we get many more applications than we can accept. We do sell out each year and approve vendors who fit the Mod Shop vision and contribute to an interesting and diverse shopping experience.
PERMITS
Food vendors must have a cottage food license through Stanislaus County. Please attach a copy of your license to your application. Regular craft vendors do not have to have a business license, Mod Shop will purchase a one-day sellers permit on your behalf if you do not have a City of Modesto Business License. Please note, that your information will be given to the City of Modesto for this purpose.
ATMOSPHERE
Mod Shop is a busy, loud, fun affair. We attract a wide range of shoppers looking for modern, unique items made by local artists
and crafters. Musicians play along the sidewalks, and DJs play at some of the locations. Please look through the gallery of photos
and determine if Mod Shop is the right venue for your business.
BOOTH FEES
Booth prices are $75. You may share a booth, but we are not offering double spaces this year.
BOOTH INFORMATION
Booth size is expanding this year to 10' wide by 4' deep. We are NOT offering double booths this year to allow more vendors to participate. All of your items, plus yourself and your chairs must fit in this space. We do not provide tables or chairs. Please be prepared for this space, we can not accommodate larger tables, Please bring an extension cord if you need anything plugged in, we can not guarantee placement by an outlet. You will not be able to hang product on walls. We do not guarantee wifi, although some locations my have it. Please do not bring individual signage to put outside of your location, we will remove it.

ACCEPTANCE AND PAYMENT
Payment is required when you submit your application. You will be prompted to pay by Paypal when submitting your application. You will be notified by email if you have been accepted in late-August. If you have not been accepted we will promptly refund all of your application fee.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations will be accepted until November 1st for a full refund, minus $5 for PayPal fees. Please understand that we also reserve the right to cancel the event based on current health official guidance.
PUBLICITY
We use vendor photos for print features, on our website, and in photo collages. Mod Shop also regularly features approved vendors on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
